Mohammad Reza Mortazavi

Mohammed Reza Mortazavi is an Iranian tombak and daf player and composer. He was born in 1979 in Isfahan, two months after the revolution in Iran. His musical ideas transcend traditional techniques and ways of playing both instruments. Mortazavi has been living in Germany as a musician and composer for over 20 years and is based in Berlin.
